At CWBTA, our endeavour is to be an effective umbrella organisation for our affiliated trade associations and be a bridge between traders and government departments. We work towards addressing the needs and aspirations of our trade fraternity and handhold them through various regulatory and other changes impacting their businesses. Additionally, we also attempt to bring together trade bodies of West Bengal and our neighbouring countries to open up new opportunities on both sides of the border.

We have passed through very concerning times due to COVID 19. We are now looking forward to exciting times ahead and expect economy to bounce back soon. We in West Bengal have a very advantageous position to have consumers in huge numbers. It is because of our population and neighbouring states whom we can easily cater for their requirements. Traders play a very vital and useful role by becoming distributive arm between manufacturers and consumers. Traders keep stocks and reach to consumers settled at remotest places. Upcoming mega event BGBS to be organised by Government of West Bengal in the month of April ‘22 will create a big opportunity for manufacturers from all over to see the important role played by the Traders in this region. We are confident that “Trade Summit & Exhibition - 2022” to be organised by CWBTA, simultaneously, will be much bigger in scale & size. We are working towards putting up a spectacular show. Eager to welcome all with a request to participate in abundance.
